400 Acres of Pistachio Gardens Built in Badghis

The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock (MAIL) has built 400 acres of pistachio gardens in Badghis province.
Badghis Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock Directorate said that these pistachio gardens were built in Aab Kamari, Moqor, and Qads districts as well as the provincial capital.
This project has been implemented from the development budget of the fiscal year 1398 (2019).
The project, which is the regulation of forests and watershed, aims to protect vegetation cover, store rainwater, prevent desertification, and to grow the green economy, by forestry associations.
